Photo art on exterior panels to create a pleasant atmosphere at Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn station

The artist Frans Hofmeester was commissioned by ProRail to make 19 photo works for the Albatrosstraat and Bleekstraat underpasses at Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn station. connected to each other Flowers grow right through hands in a play between color and light.

Qpanel has been allowed to print the artworks of Frans Hofmeester, whereby the correct color combinations of the panels have been carefully checked in advance. Our Design and Lithography department had various samples printed here, so that the right choice could be made for this project. An exact plate layout was made, with which the works of art could be printed on the wall panels with precision.

Unique lacquer system for long-term use

Our own unique lacquer system makes these exterior panels scratch resistant, impact resistant and easy to clean. In addition, the panels are resistant to vandalism, weather influences and graffiti.
